The GAZ Gold range represents the pinnacle of our suspension technology — a premium line of height adjustable dampers engineered specifically for tarmac motorsport, competition use, and serious track day enthusiasts. Building on the proven GHA platform, most GHA applications are also available in the GAZ Gold specification, with additional strut kits developed for the classic and retro performance market, 

Technical Features:
• Single-knob damping adjustment — Front and rear units feature a combined bump and rebound adjuster, allowing rapid, precise tuning of handling characteristics directly on the vehicle.
• High-capacity damper bodies — Struts and semi-struts utilise 62mm diameter bodies to increase oil volume, enhancing heat dissipation and maintaining consistent damping control during prolonged high-load operation.
• Precision-engineered internals — Fitted with 22mm induction-hardened, hard-chrome-plated piston rods for maximum strength, wear resistance, and long service life.
• Advanced sealing system — Multi-lip main seals and a metal-encased outer wiper effectively clean the piston rod, extending seal life and maintaining oil retention under the most demanding conditions.
• Lightweight billet alloy components — Wherever possible, components such as bases, end fittings, spring seats, lockrings, rod guides, and gland nuts are precision-machined from billet alloy for reduced unsprung weight. Alloy components are anodised, and the steel outer tubes are finished in black zinc plate for optimal corrosion resistance.
• Spring options for all applications — A comprehensive range of springs is available from stock, covering both road and full motorsport specifications.

For premium-level and extreme motorsport applications, additional oil volume and enhanced cooling capacity are critical to maintaining damping consistency and reducing fade in sustained race conditions. To meet these demands, GAZ offers optional remote oil canisters on select applications and bespoke builds. These systems increase fluid capacity and improve thermal management, with bump and rebound adjusters mounted on the canisters and shock body for easy accessibility during setup.
